Indo-Tibetan Border Police(ITBP) under Ministry of Home Affairs carrying out OPEN BHARTI / Open Rally from male Indian citizens belonging to border districts of Uttarakhand (Uttarkashi, Chamoli andPithoragarh) for the posts of General Duty Constable Group ‘C’. ITBP has released notification for the special recruitment drive for candidates of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh for the post of Constable (General Duty) posts through Open Rally System organize between 27 Oct to 31 Oct 2014
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.
Total Number of Vacancies: 220
(UR-127, SC-50, ST-05, OBC-38)
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years (as on 01 August 2014).
Educational Qualification: 10th Class pass from a recognized Board or University.

For candidates belonging to Kumauni and Garhwali categories: 165 cm
ST category: 162.5 cm
Chest (Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm)
Gen/SC and OBC- NCL category: 80 cm
For candidates belonging to Kumauni and Garhwali categories: 78 cm
ST category: 76 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Selection/Recruitment Process
The selection process shall consist of Height Bar Test, Race(PET), Physical Standard Test(PST), Documentation, Biometric identification, Written Test (100 Marks), Merit Lists and Medical Examination.
